Opening 1982 Mouton (magnum) on December 2, 2005

Duration = 0:35

Actually, this was a nice dinner party celebrating my birthday, so it seemed appropriate to open a magnum of 1982 Mouton, supposedly the best of the 100-point wines of that vintage.

Well,  it didn't disappoint. Everyone agreed that you couldn't ask for a better wine, so this was the experience of a lifetime in that regard.

I'm glad I had the opportunity to drink this wine, but I still don't understand how some people are willing to pay so much, even for the world's best wines...

Seven bottles of fancy wine for a party of 8... not bad.
